Judicial Cartwheels

We have not been able to avoid the curious hearings in the Anna Nicole Smith dispute. The elected judge apparently wanted to parlay his fifteen minutes of fame into a regular TV gig.

Now we have this judge in North Carolina doing cartwheels in the hallway of the courthouse. In his robe. They have a video of the gymnastics, and everything. And yes, North Carolina judges are elected.

Keep that in mind when we complain about Virginia's selection process for state court judges.
