Virginia Beach reimburses librarian for attorneys' fees

In a case seemingly pulled out of The People's Court, a Beach librarian was acquitted of assault and battery. The City Council determined that the librarian was unjustly accused and agreed to reimburse her for her attorneys' fees. Seems that an employee of the library accused the librarian of "grabbing her arms and demanding 'that I tell her whether I'm wearing any perfume.'" The employee then alleged that the librarian took her into an office and continued the interrogation.
