W&M Law Student recognized for pro bono work

Enough with the bad news, how about this? A 3L at the W&M Law School was awarded the Oliver White Hill Law Student Pro Bono Award by the Virginia State Bar. Maryann Nolan performed more than 1,000 hours of uncompensated or minimally compensated work while in law school. Plenty of these stories around, but it is difficult to find them because they typically don't find their way into the media's eye.
