Monarch Bank sued for poaching employees of Resource Bank

Although a Virginia Beach Circuit Court judge denied a request for an injunction, Resource Bank's counsel pledged that "This case is going to be around for a while." It's not an unusual tale: a couple of top executives of Resource Bank left for Monarch Bank. Shortly thereafter, Resource Bank suffered a mass defection of employees to Monarch Bank. Resource Bank apparently has alleged a breach of a nonsolicitation agreement so I speculate that the issue is whether the employees came on their own (Monarch Bank says they ran an ad and hired the employees from the ad) or whether the employees were solicited and then improperly took Resource Bank documents and information with them.
