Sudan found liable

In a Norfolk federal court case that really had no suspense, Judge Doumar found "that the government of Sudan induced the particular bombing of the Cole." Apparently the only witnesses were presented by the plaintiffs, and the defendants offered no defense. The judge will issue a written opinion and assess damages that the plaintiffs' attorneys believe will be paid "from Sudanese assets previously frozen by the U.S. government because of the African nation’s links to terrorism." Admitedly, I have no idea how that works.
