USS Cole lawsuit begins on Tuesday
This article provides a quick summary and preview of the scheduled trial between families of the 17 sailors killed in the 2000 attack on the USS Cole and Sudan. The trial will be held in Norfolk federal court, and the families are seeking $68 million in damages. Therefore, we can safely go out on a limb and predict that the plaintiffs will prevail, but how do you collect on the judgment? This press release on the plaintiffs' attorney's website gives a little bit of insight into the collection process, but who really knows.
