Another unpopular property taking

The Virginian-Pilot also has this article about Norfolk Southern's plan to build a "terminal . . . for switching cargo containers between trucks and trains." The terminal would be built in Elliston, near Roanoke, and the property would be taken by eminent domain, a power granted to the railroads. According to Del. David A. Nutter, R-Christiansburg, "70 percent of Elliston residents are against the project."
