The rise and fall of a lottery winner

Jack Whittaker owned a construction company in West Virginia when he won $315 million in the Powerball lottery. He became popular for his large gifts to charitable organizations and the carefree manner in which he carried, and spent, large amounts of cash. Those days are gone. After several run-ins with the law, the death of his granddaughter, and so many other terrible events, Jack is now facing a wrongful death lawsuit. Seems that a year prior to his granddaughter's death due to a drug overdose, her boyfriend died of an overdose in a house owned by Jack. Here's the website of the firm representing the Estate, which includes a copy of the complaint.
